ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a technique called Qigong Sensory Training (QST) can help children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) improve their ability to process sensory information and manage their behavior. Many children with autism have difficulty responding to sensory input, which can affect their daily lives and social interactions. In this study, children aged 4 to 12 years who have been diagnosed with autism will receive 15 minutes of massage therapy twice a day, five days a week, for eight weeks. The researchers will assess the children's sensory processing and behavior before and after the training.
To participate in this trial, children must be between 4 and 12 years old and have a diagnosis of autism. They also need permission from their parents or guardians and should not be receiving any other therapies during the study. However, children with severe physical disabilities or other significant mental health issues will not be included. The study will take place at Nishtar Hospital in Multan, and it aims to gather important data on how this training might benefit children with autism.
