ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into how group hydrotherapy can help athletes who suffer from chronic low back pain. Chronic low back pain is defined as pain that lasts for more than three months. The researchers want to see if participating in hydrotherapy sessions—where athletes exercise in water—can improve their pain levels and overall function.
To participate in this trial, athletes need to be between 65 and 74 years old and have been experiencing low back pain for over three months with a pain score of more than 3 on a scale of 0 to 10. They also need to be training more than five times a week. However, those with recent back pain or any neurological issues, like weakness or reflex problems, will not be eligible. Participants can expect to engage in group hydrotherapy sessions, which may offer a supportive environment to help manage their pain. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, so there will be more information available as it progresses.
