ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of sensory training on patients who are recovering from distal radius fractures, which are breaks in the wrist area. The trial will include 44 participants aged 18 to 65 who have recently healed from their fractures and have no previous injuries to their arms. Participants will be divided into two groups: one will receive regular physiotherapy, while the other will receive the same physiotherapy along with special sensory training exercises aimed at improving their sense of touch and movement.
Throughout the study, which lasts up to 8 weeks, participants will be assessed at different points to measure their grip strength, pain levels, and how well they can use their hands in daily activities. This trial is important because it aims to discover whether adding sensory training can help patients recover more effectively than just conventional therapy alone. If you meet the eligibility criteria and are looking for ways to improve your recovery after a wrist fracture, this trial might be a good opportunity for you.
