ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how effective text message reminders can be for screening depression in cancer survivors. Researchers know that many people who have survived cancer experience depression, but the current ways to check for it aren't always the best. In this study, they will invite 60 participants to see if using text messages can help identify those who may need support for their mental health more easily and effectively than usual methods.

To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old, have a cancer diagnosis, and have an upcoming appointment at a specific oncology clinic within the next two weeks. You should also be comfortable reading English and own a cellphone that can receive text messages. If you join, you can expect to receive text messages related to your mental health, and your feedback will help researchers understand if this approach works well for others in the future. Keep in mind that this trial is not yet recruiting participants, so there’s no need to sign up just yet.
