ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial, called PRO-MAMAS, is exploring a new therapy program designed to help older mothers who have had a stroke improve their health and well-being. The program focuses on meaningful activities that can help these women feel more engaged in their lives. The study will assess how well this program works and how easy it is to implement by checking in with participants at three different times: before the program starts, right after it ends, and again later.

To participate in this trial, women must be at least 70 years old, have had a stroke for at least six months, and have at least one healthy child. They also need to be able to walk independently, whether using a walking aid or not, and have no significant cognitive issues. This means they should be able to think clearly and remember things well enough to understand the program. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to provide valuable insights into how older mothers can improve their quality of life after a stroke.
