ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how a mobile app can help people who have struggled with opioid use disorder (OUD) and have been involved in the criminal justice system. After being released from jail or prison, many of these individuals feel lonely, which can lead them to drop out of treatment or use substances again. The study aims to see if providing peer support through a digital platform can reduce loneliness and improve recovery for these individuals.
To be eligible for the trial, participants must be at least 18 years old, have been prescribed medication for opioid use disorder while in jail or prison, and have been released within the last two years. They should also be able to understand and communicate in English. If you join the study, you can expect to use the mobile app to connect with others who have similar experiences, which may help you feel more supported in your recovery journey. The trial is currently looking for participants, and there are no specific exclusions based on health conditions.
