ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at whether sending reminders through WhatsApp can help young adults take better care of their teeth and gums. The study will include people aged 20 to 40 who have already received treatment for their gum health and oral hygiene instructions. Participants will be split into two groups: one will get health education plus reminders on WhatsApp for three months, while the other group will only receive the health education. The main goal is to see if the reminders can reduce the number of white spot lesions (which are early signs of tooth decay) and plaque on their teeth.
To join the study, participants need to have a smartphone with WhatsApp and be willing to provide their consent to participate. However, people with certain existing dental issues or those who have had gum surgery will not be eligible. Overall, the trial aims to find out if these AI-generated reminders can help improve oral hygiene compared to just providing education alone.
