ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called the Functional and Occupational Rehabilitation of Troops study, is looking at how to best help active-duty military personnel who are dealing with chronic musculoskeletal pain, which means long-lasting pain in muscles and bones. The researchers will be examining a program called the FORT Functional Restoration Program at six military health facilities. They want to understand what makes it easier or harder to put this program into practice and how well it helps with pain management.
To participate in this study, individuals must be active-duty military members who have been referred to the functional restoration program by their healthcare provider. Unfortunately, if someone hasn't received a referral, they won't be eligible to join. While the study is not currently recruiting participants, those who are eligible can expect to be part of a program aimed at improving their pain management and overall function. This research is important as it seeks to find better ways to support our troops in their recovery from pain.
