ClinConnect Summary
The SPAROBOPAN Project is a clinical trial designed to gather information about robotic pancreatic surgery, a modern technique for treating pancreatic diseases. This study aims to create a national registry in Spain to find out how many hospitals are using robotic surgery, what types of surgeries are being performed, and how the results compare to traditional open surgery. By collecting this data, researchers hope to better understand the benefits and challenges of robotic pancreatic surgery.
Adults who are scheduled for robotic pancreatic surgery at participating hospitals in Spain may be eligible to join the study, as long as they are between 18 and 74 years old and meet certain health criteria. Participants will be monitored for any complications after their surgery, and the study will continue collecting information until March 2026. This research is important because it will help improve surgical practices and patient care in the future.
