ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how well primary care health professionals in Spain understand and approach musculoskeletal pain, which is pain related to muscles, bones, and joints. The trial aims to assess their knowledge about how pain works in the body, their beliefs and attitudes towards chronic low back pain, and their views on fear-avoidance—essentially, how fear of pain can lead to avoiding normal activities. This research is important because it may help improve how healthcare providers support patients with chronic pain, ensuring they receive the right information to manage their condition better.
To participate in this study, individuals must be healthcare professionals such as doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, psychologists, or nutritionists who have graduated or are in training in family and community health. Participants will complete surveys that evaluate their current knowledge and beliefs about pain management. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it will be the first of its kind in Spain to focus on these specific areas, potentially leading to better education and care for patients dealing with chronic pain.
