ClinConnect Summary
The Irritable Bowel Syndrome Regional Cohort trial is designed to study people who have irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) over a period of time. This research aims to understand how IBS affects individuals differently and what its long-term outlook may be. The trial is currently looking for participants who are over 18 years old, have completed routine health checks, and are connected to a social security scheme. It's important that potential participants do not have any serious digestive diseases or have undergone significant digestive surgery.
If you decide to join this study, you will be part of a group that shares your experiences with IBS. You'll be asked to attend consultations where your health will be monitored. This research could help improve understanding of IBS and potentially lead to better treatments in the future. Please note that participants should be able to read and understand the study information in French, and certain individuals, such as pregnant women or those with legal restrictions, are not eligible to participate.
