ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how an AI-based chatbot can help older adults adopt healthier lifestyles, focusing on better eating habits and increased physical activity. The study aims to see if using this chatbot on a smartphone is acceptable and effective for promoting these changes. It is not yet recruiting participants, but when it does, it will involve older adults aged 65 and above who live in the community, speak Mandarin, and have a smartphone with internet access.
To participate, individuals should be generally healthy and able to engage in moderate physical activity, meaning they can do activities like brisk walking without difficulty. Those with certain medical conditions that limit physical activity or who live with another participant in the study will not be eligible. If you qualify and decide to participate, you can expect to interact with the chatbot, which will guide you in making healthy choices in your daily life. This trial is an exciting opportunity to see how technology can support health and well-being in older adults!
