ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on studying the anatomy of a group of nerves called the brachial plexus using ultrasound, which is a safe imaging technique that uses sound waves to create pictures of the inside of the body. The goal is to better understand how these nerves look, which can help improve treatments for injuries that affect arm movement and sensation.
To participate in this study, you need to be between the ages of 18 and 65 and scheduled for elective surgery (a surgery that is planned rather than done in an emergency). You should also be in good physical health, with no serious conditions that would affect your participation. However, if you have a skin infection in your neck, a history of nerve problems, or have had previous surgeries on your neck, you might not be eligible. The trial is currently not recruiting participants yet, so there’s no immediate action needed. If you have any questions about being part of this research, feel free to ask your doctor!
