ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how different ways of applying Kinesio tape (a stretchy tape used to support muscles and joints) can help improve balance, ankle function, and jumping ability in people with past ankle injuries. The researchers want to see if these tape applications make a difference in how well participants can balance and jump, as well as how well their ankles work.
To be eligible for this study, you need to be a healthy physiotherapy student aged between 18 and 25. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of three Kinesio tape application methods, and all activities in the study are safe and non-invasive, meaning no surgeries or needles will be involved. While some participants might experience temporary skin sensitivity or an allergic reaction to the tape, any issues can be quickly addressed by removing the tape. Overall, this study aims to find better ways to support ankle recovery and function after injury.
