ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying the effectiveness of kinesio taping in children with Congenital Muscular Torticollis, a condition that causes the neck to tilt to one side. The goal is to see if adding kinesio taping to regular neck exercises can improve the movement of the neck and muscle function. In this trial, some children will receive kinesio taping for four weeks, while others will continue with their usual exercises without any extra treatment. Researchers will evaluate the children's neck movement and muscle function both before starting the treatment and three months later to see if there are any improvements.

To be eligible for this study, children must have a diagnosis of Congenital Muscular Torticollis and their families must agree to participate. However, children with certain health issues, such as heart or lung problems, or those who cannot exercise due to other muscle or joint issues, cannot join. Additionally, children with open wounds where the tape would go, or those who are allergic to tape, are also excluded. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to provide valuable insights into how kinesio taping might help improve treatment outcomes for this condition.
