ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how doing puzzle activities can affect nursing students' willingness to work with older adults and their skills in gerontological nursing, which is the care of elderly people. The researchers will involve second-year nursing students from a university, specifically looking for at least 86 volunteers to participate. Half of the students will engage in puzzle activities, while the other half will not, so they can compare the results. The study is set to take place from March to June 2025.
To be eligible for this trial, students must be second-year nursing students who want to participate. However, if they are not enrolled in a specific course related to elderly care or if they have trouble understanding Turkish, they will not be able to join. Participants can expect to complete some questionnaires about their willingness to work with older people and their nursing skills. This study aims to find out if puzzles can help nursing students feel more confident and capable when caring for older adults.
