ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how an Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot can help patients better prepare for colonoscopy procedures. Preparing your bowels correctly is essential for a successful colonoscopy, but many people struggle with the instructions. This study aims to see if using an AI chatbot for personalized guidance can make the preparation process easier, reduce anxiety, and improve overall satisfaction with the procedure.
To participate in the trial, you need to be scheduled for a colonoscopy and be comfortable using digital devices, as well as be able to read and understand Malay or English. Unfortunately, those with memory issues from conditions like stroke or dementia, as well as individuals diagnosed with clinical anxiety, won't be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to receive support from the chatbot to help you through the bowel preparation process, making it a more manageable and less stressful experience.
