ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how total knee replacement surgery, also known as total knee arthroplasty, affects patients' ability to walk and perform daily activities. The goal is to understand why some patients are not happy with the results of their surgery, even though surgical techniques have improved over the years. Researchers will use detailed measurements of walking and daily tasks, along with patient feedback, to find out what factors might lead to dissatisfaction after the surgery.

To participate in this trial, you need to be an adult with a specific type of knee problem called gonarthrosis, which means you have arthritis affecting your knee. You should also be scheduled for a total knee replacement. However, if you have certain conditions that affect your balance or ability to move, or if you have significant difficulties with daily activities, you may not be eligible. The trial is not currently recruiting participants, but it aims to provide important insights that could improve outcomes for future patients undergoing this surgery.
