ClinConnect Summary

The "Active Living After Cancer" study is focused on understanding how a physical activity program can help cancer survivors improve their health and manage fatigue. This program is designed specifically for individuals who have overcome cancer and are looking to stay active and healthy. The trial is currently recruiting participants, specifically those aged 18 and older who live in the Acres Homes area of Houston, Texas.

To join the study, participants must have a history of invasive cancer or be a caregiver of someone who has participated. They should no longer be receiving active cancer treatment, although some long-term therapies are allowed. It’s important that participants are cleared by a healthcare provider if they have health issues. The trial will offer a supportive environment where participants can engage in physical activities tailored for their needs. If you or a loved one are interested and meet the eligibility criteria, this could be a great opportunity to enhance well-being after cancer.
