ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial, called the Cryo NerVe Block Registry, is looking at a new technique that involves freezing nerves during amputation surgeries. The goal is to understand how this method can help manage pain after an amputation, especially pain that some people feel in the area where the limb used to be, known as phantom limb pain.

To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and either currently undergoing or planning to undergo an amputation. You'll also need to be able to give your consent to join the trial. However, if you are a woman who could become pregnant during the study or have certain medical or psychological conditions that might affect your ability to participate, you may not be eligible. While the trial has not started recruiting participants yet, those who join can expect to help researchers learn more about how freezing nerves can improve pain relief after amputation.
