ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating whether taking probiotics, which are beneficial bacteria, can help improve gum health and reduce bad breath caused by harmful bacteria in the mouth. The study aims to see if these healthy bacteria can make a difference for people with gingivitis, a common gum disease that causes inflammation and discomfort.
To participate, you need to be between 17 and 25 years old, have a habit of breathing through your mouth, wear dental appliances like braces or dentures, and have at least 20 teeth that can be examined. Unfortunately, if you have chronic or autoimmune diseases, are currently pregnant or breastfeeding, or have recently had gum treatment, you won't be eligible for this study. If you do qualify and choose to participate, you'll be helping researchers understand how probiotics can affect gum health, and you may receive valuable information about your own oral health during the process.
