ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of kinesiology taping (KT) on patients who have recently had total knee replacement surgery (TKA). KT is a special type of elastic tape that can help reduce pain and swelling, improve mobility, and support daily activities as patients recover. The goal of this trial is to see how well KT works in helping patients regain their balance, manage pain, and improve their overall quality of life after surgery.
To be eligible for this trial, participants should be between the ages of 50 and 75, have had a TKA, and be able to move around independently. They should also be willing to take part in the study and not have any other health issues that could limit their movement. Participants can expect to receive KT treatment along with their usual rehabilitation care, and the researchers will monitor their progress to understand how KT might help during their recovery process. This study is important because it may help establish better recovery practices for knee replacement patients in the future.
