ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into the experiences and challenges faced by caregivers of children with cerebral palsy (CP), a common condition that affects a child’s ability to move and control their body. The study aims to understand how caring for a child with CP impacts caregivers’ mental health, stress levels, and overall quality of life. Researchers will use questionnaires to gather information about caregivers’ feelings and experiences, and they will also conduct interviews to get deeper insights.
To participate in this study, caregivers must be over 18 years old, speak Spanish or Catalan, and be willing to share their experiences on video or audio recordings. They will also need to sign a consent form to participate. Although the study is not yet recruiting participants, it’s important for those who might be interested to know that their voices will help shed light on the needs of caregivers, which can lead to better support and resources for families dealing with cerebral palsy.
