Endometriosis Tens Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying the use of a device called Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator (TENS) to help reduce pain and improve the quality of life for young women and girls suffering from endometriosis. Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining inside the uterus grows outside of it, causing chronic pelvic pain. The goal is to see if TENS can provide relief for those experiencing significant pain, which can be especially challenging for adolescents and young adults.

To participate in this trial, you need to be a girl or young woman between the ages of 13 and 25 who has been diagnosed with endometriosis and is currently experiencing pelvic pain that occurs for more than half of the month. You will also need to have a smartphone or mobile device and be able to communicate in either English or Spanish. This trial is not yet recruiting, but if you decide to participate when it starts, you can expect support in managing your pain and improving your overall well-being through the use of the TENS device.
