ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how two different treatment methods can improve ankle movement and flexibility in young adults who are physically active. Specifically, the study will compare the effects of stretching the plantar fascia (the tissue on the bottom of the foot) alone versus using a technique called Graston, which involves a specialized tool to help with the stretching. The goal is to see which method works better for improving ankle function and performance in activities like reaching and balance.
To participate in this study, you need to be between 18 and 35 years old and regularly engage in physical activities at least 2-3 times a week, like recreational sports. However, if you have any recent ankle injuries or serious lower limb conditions, or if you play sports at a professional level, you won’t be eligible. Participants will be asked to sign a consent form and will be involved in various assessments throughout the study. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, so keep an eye out for updates if you're interested!
