ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into how well a mobile health program, called the i-PregMom app, works for pregnant women. The main goals are to see how easy the app is to use and to find out if it can help manage blood sugar levels and weight gain during pregnancy. This study will focus on women who are between 10 and 14 weeks pregnant and will track their progress until they are 24 to 28 weeks along.
To join the study, women must be at least 18 years old, having their first baby, and able to understand and communicate in Chinese. They should also have a smartphone or a way to receive emails. Participants will need to share information about their weight and blood sugar during the study. However, women who were trying to lose weight before pregnancy or who have certain medical conditions that could affect weight changes won’t be eligible. If you decide to participate, you can expect to use the app regularly and provide updates on your health during this important time.
