ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on protecting the liver in children and adolescents who have recently been diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and are starting their chemotherapy treatment. The research aims to monitor and prevent any liver damage that may occur during the early stages of chemotherapy. The study is currently looking for participants, specifically children and teenagers aged 2 to 18 years who are just beginning their treatment for ALL at Ain Shams Hospital.
To participate in this trial, children must be newly diagnosed with ALL and not have any known chronic liver diseases. If eligible, participants can expect to receive careful monitoring during their chemotherapy to help ensure their liver stays healthy throughout the treatment process. This study is important because it could lead to better care for young patients undergoing chemotherapy, helping to minimize potential side effects related to liver health.
