ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the use of virtual reality (VR) to help patients who have just undergone open-heart surgery start moving and exercising earlier in their recovery. The goal is to see if VR can make it easier and more enjoyable for patients to engage in physical activity, which is important for healing. By using VR, researchers hope to reduce anxiety and improve recovery outcomes during the critical early days after surgery.
To participate in this study, patients need to be 18 years or older, literate, and able to understand and speak Turkish. They should not have any serious health issues like neurological problems or complications from the surgery. If eligible, participants will take part in a VR-supported rehabilitation program while they are in the hospital. This program aims to encourage them to move more and help improve their overall recovery. The findings from this study could provide valuable insights into how VR can enhance the care and recovery process for heart surgery patients.
