ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into how factors related to anesthesia during lung transplantation can affect patients' recovery and outcomes. The study will analyze data from patients aged 18 and older who had either a single or double lung transplant at a specific hospital between 2017 and 2024. Researchers want to understand how anesthesia management impacts complications that may arise after surgery, how long patients stay in the intensive care unit (ICU), and overall recovery time in the hospital.
To participate in this study, individuals must be at least 18 years old and have received a lung transplant, but those who have had a re-transplant, multiple organ transplants, or incomplete medical records will not be eligible. If you or a loved one is considering a lung transplant, this trial aims to improve the process and outcomes of surgery by providing valuable insights into how anesthesia affects recovery.
