ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a condition called alloknesia in patients with atopic dermatitis, which is a skin condition that causes chronic itching. Alloknesia is when light touch feels itchy, making everyday interactions uncomfortable and affecting quality of life. The researchers want to find out how common alloknesia is among people with atopic dermatitis and how it impacts their daily lives.
To participate in the trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and have been diagnosed with atopic dermatitis for more than six months. However, if you are currently receiving certain treatments or are unable to fill out questionnaires, you won't be able to join. If you do participate, you can expect to answer some questions about your experiences with itching and sensitivity to touch. This study aims to shed light on an important aspect of living with atopic dermatitis that hasn't been explored before.
