ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to understand how common pelvic floor dysfunction is among female athletes in Egypt and to find out which sports might contribute to this condition. Pelvic floor dysfunction can affect how well the muscles in the pelvic area work, which can lead to issues like incontinence or discomfort. By gathering information about these athletes, the study aims to raise awareness and understand the risk factors involved.
To participate in this trial, women between the ages of 16 and 60 who regularly engage in sports or athletic activities and currently live in Egypt may be eligible. However, those who are not active in sports, live outside of Egypt, or are involved in para-athletics will not be able to join. If selected, participants can expect to share their experiences and possibly help improve awareness and care related to pelvic floor health in female athletes.
