ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at ways to help patients undergoing carotid endarterectomy, a surgery to treat carotid artery diseases. The main goal is to see if a special method that predicts and prevents low blood pressure (called hypotension) is better than the standard way of managing it during surgery. Patients will be randomly placed into one of two groups: one group will use the predictive method, while the other will receive standard treatment for low blood pressure if it occurs.
To participate in this trial, individuals must be at least 18 years old and have no serious health issues like a high body mass index or certain heart conditions. The trial is not yet recruiting, so it's not currently open for enrollment. If someone is eligible and agrees to join, they can expect to be monitored closely during their surgery, and their experience may help improve care for future patients undergoing similar procedures.
