ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how mindfulness-based interventions, specifically an 8-week program called Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT-L), can help improve the mental well-being and teaching effectiveness of Chinese teachers. The study will involve 160 teachers from different locations and aims to understand how practicing mindfulness can benefit their overall health and performance in the classroom.
To be part of this study, teachers need to be between 21 and 65 years old and currently working in a school. They should be ready to commit to the 8-week course. However, teachers who have previously joined similar mindfulness programs or those who are experiencing serious mental health issues, like suicidal thoughts, will not be eligible. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it promises to provide valuable insights into supporting teachers' mental health and teaching skills through mindfulness practices.
