ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new approach to rehabilitation for people who have had a stroke. Many stroke survivors don’t get the recommended level of care they need to recover fully, which can lead to long-term challenges and increased disability. The trial will test a technology-enhanced rehabilitation program that was developed with input from stroke survivors. The goal is to see if this program can help deliver better care according to established rehabilitation guidelines in various healthcare settings.
To participate in this study, individuals must have had a stroke and be currently well enough to engage in rehabilitation activities, including those that help with movement and communication. Participants should be able to attend the program for two hours, at least twice a week, and must be able to understand instructions in English. Those with certain health issues or recent changes in their health may not be eligible. If you join this study, you can expect to be part of a program that aims to improve rehabilitation services for stroke survivors, helping to create a model that can be used widely in the future.
