ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial at Amiens University Hospital is studying pediatric feeding disorders (PFDs), which are problems that prevent children from eating properly for at least two weeks. Feeding disorders can affect up to 25% of children, leading to issues like malnutrition or even obesity. The trial aims to better understand how these disorders develop and impact children's health, especially looking at how medical, nutritional, and social factors play a role.
To participate in this study, children must be under 18 years old and have had at least two appointments with a pediatric gastroenterologist for feeding issues. They need to have been experiencing inappropriate eating habits for at least two weeks, which are linked to problems with their health or eating skills. However, children with anorexia nervosa are not eligible for this trial. Participants will have the opportunity to receive specialized care and contribute to important research that could help other children facing similar challenges.
