ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying two different ways of providing breathing support for patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery, which is a type of minimally invasive surgery. Specifically, the trial is comparing a personalized method of maintaining lung pressure, called Individualized Positive End-Expiratory Pressure (PEEP), to a standard fixed pressure approach. The goal is to see which method helps patients breathe better and get more oxygen during surgery.

To participate in this trial, you would need to be between 25 and 65 years old, and scheduled for laparoscopic surgery. Certain health conditions, such as unstable heart conditions or chronic lung diseases, would prevent eligibility. If you join the study, you can expect careful monitoring of your breathing and oxygen levels during your surgery, helping doctors find the best way to support your lungs. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to improve care for patients like you in the future.
