ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how health education and peer support can improve women's knowledge and attitudes about cervical cancer, which is important for prevention. The study will focus on women aged 30 to 65 who are married and have not been screened for cervical cancer in the recommended time frame. Participants will be educated about risk factors, the importance of getting the HPV vaccine, and the necessity of regular screening tests. They will also learn about healthy lifestyle choices. What makes this program unique is that it encourages women to share their experiences with each other, creating a supportive environment that helps reinforce what they learn.
To join the study, women need to be enrolled at the Training Center and willing to communicate and collaborate with others. However, women who have had a total hysterectomy, are pregnant, have been diagnosed with cervical cancer, or have kept up with their screenings will not be eligible. Participants can expect to take part in group discussions and activities that make the information more relatable and easier to understand, aiming to boost their confidence in managing their health.
