ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at whether Shiatsu therapy, a form of massage that focuses on pressure points, can help improve the quality of life for children and teenagers dealing with chronic pain that doesn't come from inflammation. The main goal is to see if adding weekly Shiatsu sessions to their regular treatment can make a difference in how they feel and function in their daily lives.

To participate, children and teens aged 10 to 18 must have a diagnosis of chronic pain that is not related to inflammation and be receiving care at the Pediatric Rheumatology or Pediatric Pain Clinics in Tel Aviv. Participants will continue their usual treatments and attend a 30-minute Shiatsu session once a week for six weeks. They will also fill out questionnaires about their quality of life and how their pain affects their families before, during, and after the therapy. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to involve about 40 young people who meet the criteria.
