ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking to understand which type of therapy works better for improving hand functions in children with hemiplegic cerebral palsy, a condition that affects movement on one side of the body. The study will compare two types of treatments: Action Observation Therapy (where children watch others perform tasks to learn) and Core Stability Training (which focuses on strengthening the muscles that help with balance and movement). Researchers will also explore the effects of combining both therapies.

To be eligible for the trial, children must be between four and eight years old and have a specific level of muscle tightness and motor skills that allow them to follow instructions. Unfortunately, children with certain medical histories, like recent surgeries or specific health conditions, will not be able to participate. If selected, participants will engage in these therapies to see how they can help improve their hand use. This study is currently not recruiting participants, but it aims to provide valuable insights into effective treatments for improving hand functions in children with this condition.
