ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how different types of shoes affect runners who have a condition called functional equinus, which can make it difficult to run properly. Specifically, the study focuses on Nimbus shoes designed for training, which are heavier than usual but provide good support and stability. The trial aims to understand how these shoes can help runners stay comfortable and perform better while training or competing.
To participate in this trial, you should be a regular runner between the ages of 18 and 62 who has functional equinus. However, if you have any serious foot measurements issues or have had recent surgery on your legs, you won't be able to join. If you decide to participate, you can expect to wear these specially designed shoes during your running sessions and share your experiences with the researchers. This trial is currently recruiting participants, so it’s a great opportunity to contribute to our understanding of how footwear can affect sports performance for runners with this condition.
