ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a special therapy called "Hand-arm Bimanual Intensive Therapy Including Lower Extremities" (HABIT-ILE) for patients who have had a stroke. The goal is to see how this treatment can help improve daily activities, movement, and thinking skills in adults who are in the early stages of recovery after a stroke. The study will take place at William Lennox Neurological Hospital and will involve comparing the effects of this therapy on different patients.
To participate in the trial, you need to be between the ages of 18 and 99 and have experienced a stroke recently. However, if you have unstable epilepsy or cannot express your willingness to join, you won't be able to participate. If you do join, you can expect to take part in a program that aims to help you regain your abilities in a supportive hospital setting. This study is important as it may offer new insights into effective rehabilitation after a stroke, potentially helping many patients recover better. Please note that the trial is not yet recruiting participants, so there will be more information available once it begins.
