ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying the effectiveness of egg shell hydrogel compared to fluoride varnish in helping to heal early cavities, known as white spot lesions, in children's front teeth. The main question the researchers want to answer is whether the egg shell treatment can help improve these spots better than the fluoride treatment. Children between the ages of 3 to 5 years who are generally healthy and have at least one visible white spot on their front teeth may be eligible to participate.

If you decide to take part in the study, your child will receive either the egg shell hydrogel or fluoride varnish, and the researchers will follow up with you to see how well the treatment is working. It’s important to note that children who are uncooperative, have certain medical conditions, or have had fluoride treatments recently may not qualify for this study. Parents will need to provide written consent for their child to participate. This trial is not yet recruiting, so there's still time to learn more before it begins.
