ClinConnect Summary
The PREMEDICAL trial is a research study aiming to improve how we collect information from patients who visit the emergency department. It focuses on gathering detailed information about patients' symptoms and medical history directly from them, using a tablet for easy input. By doing this, the study hopes to see if this enriched information can help improve the quality of care patients receive after leaving the emergency room.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old, able to understand and speak German, and meet certain criteria based on a triage system that prioritizes patients based on the seriousness of their condition. If eligible, you will be asked to sit in the waiting area of the emergency department, where you can record your symptoms and answer specific questions about your health. This is an important opportunity to contribute to enhancing patient care in the future.
