ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how our eyes and brains search for visual information in different ways. Researchers want to understand if there are differences in how we perform tasks when we do the same type of search repeatedly versus when we switch between different types of searches. Participants will take part in four different search tasks, either doing one task many times in a row (called "blocked") or switching between tasks randomly (called "mixed").
To be eligible for the trial, participants should be aged between 65 and 74 and need to pass a color vision test. However, those with vision worse than 20/25, even with glasses, or with a history of certain eye or muscle disorders cannot participate. If you join the study, you can expect to complete a series of visual tasks while the researchers observe and record how you search for visual information. This study aims to improve our understanding of visual attention and could lead to better strategies for helping individuals with visual processing.
