ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is aimed at validating a French version of the Foot Health Status Questionnaire (FHSQ), a tool designed to assess foot health and its impact on a person's quality of life. The original questionnaire has shown that many people with foot problems experience pain and limitations in their daily activities, which can reduce their overall well-being. By translating and adapting this questionnaire into French, the researchers want to ensure it accurately reflects the experiences of French-speaking patients with foot issues. They will do this by testing the final version for reliability and validity, ensuring it measures what it is supposed to measure.
To be eligible for the study, participants must be at least 18 years old, able to speak, read, and write in French, and visiting IFRES in Alençon, France, for a foot care appointment. Those who have previously participated in this research are not eligible. If you join the study, you will fill out the FHSQ questionnaire, which should take about 10-15 minutes, and your responses will help improve foot health assessments for French-speaking patients. Your participation is important for creating a reliable tool that can help others with foot problems in the future.
