ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how well different translation tools, specifically ChatGPT, Google Translate, and UD Talk, perform during medical consultations for heart and lung conditions. The goal is to see which tool helps patients and doctors communicate better, especially for those who speak different languages. The researchers believe that ChatGPT and UD Talk will be more accurate than Google Translate in helping patients understand their medical situations.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be at least 18 years old and visiting the Cardiology or Pulmonology Department at Fu Jen Catholic University Hospital between December 2024 and November 2025. Participants will be asked to take part in conversations using these translation tools, helping to identify how well they work in real medical settings. It’s important to note that patients who can’t communicate effectively or refuse to participate won’t be included in the study. This research aims to improve communication in healthcare and make sure everyone gets the best possible care, regardless of the language they speak.
