ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how effective chocolate milk can be for highly trained kayakers when it comes to recovering from intense physical activity. Kayaking demands a lot of energy, and after a tough session, athletes need to recover properly to keep their performance up. The researchers want to find out if drinking chocolate milk helps kayakers recover faster by looking at various markers in their blood that show fatigue and inflammation, which are signs of how well their bodies are healing.
To participate in this study, kayakers aged 18 to 35 who train regularly may be eligible, but they must not have any injuries or health issues, and they should not be taking certain medications or supplements. During the trial, participants will drink chocolate milk after their kayaking sessions, and the researchers will monitor their recovery process. This study could provide valuable insights into how chocolate milk compares to other recovery drinks and could help improve nutrition strategies for endurance athletes.
