ClinConnect Summary
The ASTHMAXcel Voice Study is a research trial aimed at helping people with asthma. This study will compare a new tool called the ASTHMAXcel Voice platform to the usual care methods that asthma patients currently receive. Researchers believe that using this new platform might lead to better health outcomes, improve quality of life for asthma patients, help them stick to their medication routines, and boost their confidence in managing their asthma.
To participate in this trial, you need to be between the ages of 65 and 74, speak English, and have a diagnosis of persistent asthma that requires daily medication. You’ll also need access to a smartphone with a data plan. Unfortunately, if you are pregnant or have severe mental health issues that could affect your participation, you wouldn't be eligible for this study. If you choose to take part, you'll have the chance to try out the ASTHMAXcel Voice platform and help researchers understand its benefits for asthma management.
