ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating whether a special care program, called the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) program, can improve the recovery and health outcomes for patients with pancreatic cancer who are undergoing surgery. The ERAS program includes a variety of strategies to support patients before, during, and after their surgery, all aimed at helping them feel better and recover more quickly.
To participate in this trial, you need to be an adult diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and scheduled for elective open pancreatic surgery. Unfortunately, individuals under 18 years old, those needing emergency surgery, or those who have had other types of surgery won't be eligible. If you decide to join the study, you can expect to receive comprehensive care tailored to enhance your recovery process. The trial is currently looking for participants, and all genders are welcome to join.
