ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called "Wearable Devices Empowering Active Health Initiatives for High-Risk Stroke Populations," is looking at how smart wearable devices can help people who are at high risk for strokes manage their health better. The study focuses on individuals with conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, irregular heartbeats (atrial fibrillation), or those who smoke, are overweight, or do not get enough physical activity. The goal is to see if these devices can effectively help control these important health factors.
To participate in this trial, you need to be diagnosed with at least one of the conditions mentioned above and be able to use a smart wearable device, like a fitness tracker or smartwatch. Unfortunately, if you have a serious illness like cancer, certain mental health issues, or difficulty understanding how to use these devices, you won’t be eligible to join. While the trial is not yet recruiting participants, if you qualify, you can expect to use the wearable devices to track your health and receive support in making positive lifestyle changes to reduce your stroke risk.
